Duplicating Sections in Squarespace - Save time with Saved Sections!

Do you often find yourself recreating the same section on multiple pages of your Squarespace website? Or maybe you want to build out new pages faster while keeping a consistent design across your site? With Squarespace's built-in feature to save and reuse sections, you can easily accomplish both!

In this blog post, we'll guide you through the steps to save a section in Squarespace and use it in another area or page of your website.

Step 1: Create and Style the Section

First, create the section you want to save and style it to your liking. This can be any type of section, such as a text block, image gallery, or a custom code block.

Once you have the section set up, make sure it looks the way you want it to appear on other pages of your website.

Step 2: Save the Section

To save the section, click on the gear icon at the top of the section and select "Save Block."

Give the block a name that you can easily recognize, such as "Testimonial Section" or "Featured Products," and click "Save."

Step 3: Reuse the Section

To reuse the saved section, simply navigate to the page where you want to add it and click the plus icon to add a new section.

Under the "Saved" tab, you'll find the section you just saved. Click on it to add it to your page.

You can now customize the section on this page, and any changes you make will not affect the original saved section. This allows you to use the same section in multiple areas or pages of your website without having to recreate it each time.

Saving and reusing sections in Squarespace is a great way to build out new pages faster while maintaining a cohesive design across your website.
